Career Experience
After graduating college, I briefly served in the Navy. I was the division officer of the interior communication electricians on board a ship stationed in Sasebo, Japan. Once I left military service, I became a full-time self-employed academic tutor. As an independent contractor, I was able to align myself with many organizations dedicated to providing academic assistance. Since beginning in 2012, I have tutored for more than 10,000 hours in the subjects of math, science, and standardized test preparation.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love math and I want everyone else to love it too (or, at least not to hate it). I really enjoy helping others make the connections or bridge the gaps between concepts so that the path forward becomes clearer. Tutoring allows me to play a small role in helping others reach goals or achieve success.
